This listing is for a Altar Tile, celebrating Alban Eilir. Alban Eilir is the Druidic term for the Spring Equinox and means 'The light of the Earth' and is a celebration of life returning.
For, as the sun grows stronger, warming the earth the first signs of spring do appear. From Crocuses, daffodils to even Bluebells the earth 'springs to life'!
At this time of equal day and equal night, we are reminded of the need of balance. This, after all, is the time when there is an equal amount of day and night.
The Tile has been made by us using a wooden round disc with the bark still attached. It is decorated with a border of spring daffodils and within the centre the worlds 'Blessed Alban Eilir'.
This tile measures between 9 to 10 cm.
We are based in Wiltshire in the UK, near to our Spiritual home of Avebury, the White Horse and a short distance from Stone Henge. All the items you see on our pages are handmade by us.
