This is a time of abundance, but also a time of reverence. Thanking the earth as mother and giver for our abundance. This is a time of farewell and giving thanks to our lord that dwindles in strength as the darkness grows.
In this time of wonder, of abundance for all the mother has provided we step into the darkness holding tight the promise from the devine that the light will return at the end of the darker days. So mote it be, as it always is from year to year, life to life. These are the lessons from our lord and lady.
