Welcome to our listing for the beautiful, Bast Goddess Figurine.
This beautiful Goddess figurine has been hand crafted by ourselves in polymer clay. Bastet is known as the Goddess of Fertility, Pregnancy and Childbirth, but her Origins tell of her being a fierce warrior of the sun. Sometimes shown with a lion's face, other times with a Cats face. I have shown Bast in her most recognised form.
Bast has been sculpted with a sun disk on her head, holding an ankh in one hand and a Was (sceptre) in the other. The Was sceptre appears in many ancient images and hieroglyphs and appears as a stylized animal head at the top of a very long straight staff. The Was is a symbol of Power or dominion making this a perfect symbol for Bastet.
Bast joins our collection of Goddesses from various pantheons. Each goddess is made by hand, sculpted from hand to order, so there may be some minor variations in details, including the size, which is around 3.5 inches.
Your item will arrive boxed, padded out to keep it safe in transit.
We are based in Wiltshire in the UK, near to our Spiritual home of Avebury, the White Horse and a short distance from Stone Henge. All the items you see on our pages are handmade by us.
