Welcome to our listing for a pendant Necklace depicting Brigid, Ostara measures around 6 cm in height, she is sculpted from Black clay, she has been brushed lightly with silver paint giving her an almost chiselled stone affect vibe.  Brigid is seen here with a brigid's cross sitting across her thighs.  A Brigid's cross is a symbol of protection believed to ward off evil.

In Celtic mythology Brigid is one of the most powerful religious figures in the Celtic pantheon.  Known as Brigid, Bridey, Brigit, Bride, Brigantia, Briggidda and Breet.  She is the patroness of healing, poetry, smithcraft, divination and prophecy and represents the virgin aspect of the great goddess.
