Welcome to our listing for the Celtic goddess Cerridwen, Cerridwen measures around 6 cm in height, she is sculpted from Black clay, she has been brushed lightly with silver paint giving her an almost chiselled stone affect vibe. Cerridwen is seen here with her cauldron and a Moonstone gemstone set within her tummy.
Cerridwen is a goddess from Celtic Welsh mythology. She is a powerful underworld goddess and keeper of the cauldron. Cerridwen is associated with inspiration, transformation and rebirth. Cerridwen is often associated with the moon, particularly the dark moon or waning crescent or the crone aspect of the Triple Goddess.
Cerridwen and her magical cauldron features in the tale of Taliesin, who is reborn from her after she swallows his former self, Gwion Bach after a rather eventful chase!
As this piece is handmade, it is important to point out that each piece can vary slightly, but we believe this adds to the magic and makes each and everyone that little bit more special!
