Freya is from the Norse pantheon and is known as the Goddess of Love, Fertility, Beauty, Sex, war and magic (seeing and influencing the future).
On the forth night of Yule, some honour the god Njord, Goddess Freyja and the Jotun Aegir. On that night friendships, sharing and strengthening bonds are celebrated and the virtues of love is honoured by feasting, toasting giving hospitality to our nearest and dearest.
To this end, a Freyja hanging could make a beautiful addition to any Altar space or Yule Tree!
