In Greek mythology Hecate is a triple goddess of magic, witchcraft, the night, crossroads, transformation, the underworld, the moon etc, etc. She is truly a multifaceted goddess and if she is a deity you call upon, this Altar statue would be a great addition to your Altar!
Our representation of Hecate, shows her in her triple aspect. Her three heads, sit as one upon her shoulders allowing her to watch over the crossroads and doorways allowing her to see all paths. Each head decorated with a crescent moon for her lunar association. Hecate Holds a torch, illuminating truth by banishing ignorance and fear that grows in the shadows. The dagger for her association with death and vengeance. Her serpent wraps around her torched staff, a symbol of her transformation. She truly was a joy to sculpt!
This beautiful Goddess figurine has been hand sculpted and hand painted, as such - no two are never exactly the same. As each goddess is made by hand, to order your Hecate may differ, there may be some minor variations in details, including the size, which is around 6 inches.
