Handcrafted upon quality silver plated chain the necklace features Hel a Norse goddess, crafted in Black and white clay with a Onyx bead embedded inside her tummy. Hel or Hela is the daughter of Loki and giantess Angrboda, her brothers are Fenrir the Wolf and Jormungandr the World Serpent. Hel reigns over the realm of the dead Helheim. Our representation of Hel has an inverted rune for life below her stomach.
Black Onyx is said to be a stone of Protection, a powerful talisman for Strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome challenges and self confidence. It also is a powerful amulet against negative energy.
Its magical correspondences are pretty much the same, protection in the face of conflict, protection, defensive magick against physical attack or hexing.
