Welcome to our listing for a Kali goddess altar decoration.  

Kali measures around 6 cm in height, She has blue skin (the colour most associated to her).  She has a long lolling tongue, wears a necklace of skulls around her neck and a skirt of severed arms.

Kali is the Hindu goddess of time, death and rebirth, she encompasses the dual nature of the destruction that clears the way for new beginnings.  She is the essence of female power, wild, untamed, primal and unapologetic!  

She is also known as the divine mother or the dark mother, for she also has the power to create and transform that which she has raised to the ground.  For indeed, she can be as fierce as a mother in her protection, but this mother practices tough love!  To be fierce in standing up to your demons and to fight for what is right and be appropriately ruthless - to engage with the fiercer forms of grace.

Inside Kali's belly sits a black onyx gemstone bead.  Black Onyx is said to be a stone of Protection, a powerful talisman for Strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome challenges and self confidence.  It also is a powerful amulet against negative energy making it a perfect stone for Kali.

As this piece is handmade, it is important to point out that each piece can vary slightly, but we believe this adds to the magic and makes each and everyone that little bit more special!
