This listing is for the Holly King Green Man Wall Hanging, our personification of nature at the time of the Holly King's reign.

This Holly King Green Man has been crafted from Polymer Clay, Leaf by leaf he has been sculpted entirely by hand and then carefully painted to add depth and contrast before being placed on a natural wooden disk that still holds the bark on the outer edge.  This Green Man has a lions mane of Holly leaves

This Green Man could hang proudly on any wall, at any time of year, but would be particularly relevant after the Summer Solstice which is when according to folklore the Oak King falls to the Holly King who then precedes the darker half of the year.

Please bear in mind when placing your order that this piece takes time to make - it is a made to order item (not a stock item) and we will require up to 5 days in order to sculpt, paint and set your item for you.  As each item is made by hand and not moulded it can vary ever so slightly from make to make.  However, we believe this adds to the magic and energy of the piece.

We are based in Wiltshire in the UK, near to our Spiritual home of Avebury, the White Horse and a short distance from Stone Henge.  All the items you see on our pages are handmade by us.
