Lilith Goddess, Altar Goddess Decoration

This listing for the Mesopotamian goddess Lilith.  Lilith is a dark Goddess of Witchcraft.  A symbol of female empowerment to many.  Before Lilith was demonised it is thought that she was worshipped as a goddess from cultures in the mediterranean and middle east and seen as a carnal goddess.

Lilith measures around 6 cm in height, she is sculpted from black clay, she has been brushed lightly with silver paint giving her an almost chiselled stone affect appearance.  Lilith wears her horns with pride, embracing the stories that have vilified her but inturn have given her immense power through the ages and propelled this ancient goddess into modern culture.  A snake representing knowledge, healing and transformation slithers up her thighs and rests just below her jawline.   We have placed an onyx bead within her tummy.  Black Onyx is said to be a stone of Protection, a powerful talisman for Strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome challenges and self confidence.  It also is a powerful amulet against negative energy.

Lilith is unapologetically independent, she extrudes sensuality and sexuality, fertility and rebirth and is an untamed nature of the feminine divine.  Wise beyond her ancient years she sees into the darkness and the nocturnal realms and has unmeasurable depths of resilience.  In connecting with Lilith, seekers embark on a path of self awareness and transformation.
