Welcome to our listing for the Modron Goddess Pendant Necklace.
Handcrafted upon quality silver plated chain the necklace features a Goddess sculpted from Polymer Clay. Modron is a Celtic Goddess, often referred to as the Great Mother and is often associated with the Autumn Equinox, a time of abundance. She is also referred to as; Matron, Madron, Matronae, Matrona and Marne. Modron is the Goddess of Motherhood, a faery queen and Otherworld Goddess and she is also the Mother to Mabon the Celtic God of Youth and namesake of the Wiccan Sabbat Mabon.
Modron measures around 6 cm in height. Modron cradles her baby Mabon who is swaddled in a while blanket. Sweetcorn and Apples lay at her feet and above her head are the rays of the dawning Summer Sun as we step into the darker months ahead. Her Orange and red strands of hair her flow from her head towards her feet.
Your Pendant is supplied with a silver plated necklace chain that is available in choice of chain length from 18 to 24 inches and will be supplied in a little pouch ready for gifting.
As this piece is handmade, it is important to point out that each piece can vary slightly, but we believe this adds to the magic and makes each and everyone that little bit more special!
