Introducing a brand new Altar Hanging, celebrating the pagan sabbat Ostara, the Spring Equinox or if you prefer Alban Eilir.
At this time of equal day and equal night, we are reminded of the need of balance. This, after all, is the time when there is an equal amount of day and night.
The wall hanging has been made by us using a natural wooden slice with the bark still attached and features symbolism relevant to Ostara. With brightly coloured eggs symbolising new life and pillar candles either side symbolising balance.
