This listing is for the beautiful needle felted Ostara Woollen egg.  Made entirely of wool and comes complete with a pretty wooden stand to sit it on!

This woollen egg has been handmade by us using the technique of needle felting and is packed with symbolism from every angle you look upon it.  There is a large Narcissus Daffodil front and centre of the Daffodil and light green spiral vines wrapping themselves around the rest of the egg.  The background is a beautiful sunny yellow tying in to the Sabbat of Ostara.  We believe this is a pretty and unusual Sabbat decoration that could take pride at any Altar or sacred space

In greek mythology Narcissus was known for his beauty, however he rejected all advances.  He eventually fell in love with a reflection, in a pool of water, becoming entranced by it he tragically fell into the water not realizing its similarity.  It is said, that there in his place grew a flower bearing his name.

As each and every egg is handmade with natural fibres they take time, and energy to complete, with any slight differences being a testament to what goes in to lovingly crafting each piece.  Please allow up to 5 days for your egg to be decorated. As each is handmade, to order, there may be slight variations to each piece, but we believe this adds to the magick!

We are based in Wiltshire in the UK, near to our Spiritual home of Avebury, the White Horse and a short distance from Stone Henge.  All the items you see on our pages are handmade by us.
