This listing is for a Altar hanging, celebrating the pagan sabbat Ostara, otherwise referred to as the Spring Equinox, or for our Druidic friends Alban Eilir.
At this time of equal day and equal night, we are reminded of the need of balance. This, after all, is the time when there is an equal amount of day and night.
The Altar hanging has been made using a natural wooden slice with the bark still attached and features symbolism relevant to the Equinox, including the Sun and Moon drawn onto a white and black candle in equal balance, a basket of brightly coloured eggs rests in the centre depicting the celebration of the egg and new life.
This tile measures between 9 to 10 cm.
