This listing is for a Altar Tile, celebrating the Summer Solstices, a moment when the sun is at its peak, the longest day of the year. Days have been growing longer since the sun's rebirth at the Winter Solstice and from this day forward will gradually get shorter until the sun wanes in power and we arrive once more at the Winter Solstice at the sun's rebirth.
The Altar tile has been made by us using a natural wooden slice with the bark still attached, the tile measures between 9 to 10 cm.
We are based in Wiltshire in the UK, near to our Spiritual home of Avebury, the White Horse and a short distance from Stone Henge. All the items you see on our pages are made by us.
